Extracurriculars

Our Lady of Angels students are encouraged to participate in activities and events outside of the classroom setting to build community, develop important skills, and demonstrate the ideals of P.R.I.D.E. We offer many different outlets in which students can express their interests within the Our Lady of Angels community.

Academic Decathalon

More information will be posted soon.

Student Council

The Our Lady of Angels Student Council consists of a number of elected students from grades 6-8 who qualify to assume office and act as representatives in several areas of school activities. Student council leads the morning assembly, pep rallies, and other important school events.

Student council also consists of classroom representatives in grades 4 – 8. They work in conjunction with the student government.

Cheerleading

Cheerleading is returning to Our Lady of Angels School! As a school organization, we aim to build more community and connections on campus by cheering at Home basketball  Games, assemblies,  senior luncheons,  pep rallies, and jamborees; having more smiling faces and directors of first impressions to those that enter our school gates; and to be an inviting community that is welcoming and strong.

We will develop young children into young adults while becoming ambassadors of kindness, respect, etiquette, poise, polish, and most importantly, leaders that project our Christian faith.

Children's Choir

All students, from any school, in grades 2nd – 6th interested in participating in the Sunday 10:00 am liturgical celebration are invited to join the OLA Children’s Choir.  Practices are every Tuesday from 4-5pm in the church.

For more information about joining our Children’s Choir, contact Jennie Lyn Malibiran.

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s foremost youth program of character development values-based leadership training.

Scouting programs offer young people responsible fun and adventure with an emphasis on outdoor activities like camping, canoeing, mountain biking, etc.; instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law; train young people in citizenship, service and leadership; and serve the United States’ communities and families with its quality, values-based programs.

Cub Scouts is open to scouts age 7-10, and Scouts BSA is open to scouts 11-17 years old.

Girl Scouts

Each Girl Scout troop at Our Lady of Angels School meets monthly and collectively earns badges and completes challenges by instilling in the girls courage, confidence, and character, with the mission of making the world a better place. Most meetings are held directly after school or in the evening to allow for girls to participate in athletic and extracurricular activities. If you are interested in joining the existing troop, or starting your own OLA troop for another grade, please contact the Our Lady of Angels school office.
